GMC’s Racist Campaign Against Accuvision Clinic: Threats, Intimidation, and an Unjust Vendetta

The General Medical Council (GMC) has again targeted Accuvision, a highly respected clinic operated by Asian doctors, in a deliberate, racially motivated campaign designed to shut it down. Despite top investigative and regulatory bodies—the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and the police—conclusively dismissing all allegations against Accuvision as baseless, the GMC has continued its relentless assault, intent on tearing down a reputable Asian-run clinic.

Since 2017, Accuvision has endured an unjust campaign of harassment, damage to reputation, and institutional racism, all fueled by the complaints of Sasha Rodoy and Nicola Dowling of the BBC. In 2022, after years of delays, the GMC held its first hearing, which concluded in chaos after Rodoy and Dowling threatened the jury members, forcing them to recuse themselves. Rather than closing this unfounded case, the GMC opted to prolong it further, holding yet another hearing in October 2024 and again inviting Rodoy and Dowling to participate, ensuring continued damage to Accuvision’s reputation.

As the recent hearing entered its fourth week, Rodoy and Dowling escalated their intimidation tactics, this time targeting panel chairman Stephen Gowland with threats that forced him to recuse himself, bringing the proceedings to a halt. The GMC’s response to this manipulation was silence. Neither the GMC nor the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service (MPTS) has provided any comment to the press, further fueling public outrage and demonstrating a blatant disregard for transparency and accountability. Their refusal to engage with journalists speaks volumes, underscoring their indifference to upholding justice and their complicity in a campaign built on racial prejudice.

The GMC’s repeated alignment with Rodoy and Dowling’s racist vendetta is a disgrace. It is not just an attack on Accuvision’s doctors but a chilling message to all minority professionals in the UK healthcare system: the GMC will support racial harassment under the guise of regulation. By indulging Rodoy and Dowling’s baseless complaints and permitting their threats to corrupt the hearing process twice, the GMC has shown it will back those who seek to dismantle reputable clinics through intimidation.

The Accuvision case lays bare the racism entrenched within the GMC and MPTS, institutions that are supposed to protect the integrity of the medical profession, not enable vendettas against minority practitioners. For seven years, Accuvision has been dragged through a regulatory nightmare orchestrated by individuals with personal grudges, while the GMC consistently grants them the power to ruin an Asian-run clinic with zero substantiated evidence. This is an environment where Asian doctors are vulnerable to racist agendas upheld by institutions claiming to protect public health.

General Medical Council (GMC) – revealed as a racist organisation

The GMC’s treatment of Accuvision shows a systemic bias that has created a hostile and unsafe environment for minority doctors in the UK. The repeated delays, chaos from jury recusals, and deliberate disregard for fairness all reveal a GMC intent on sacrificing impartiality to fuel a racist campaign. This saga is not only a shameful injustice to Accuvision but an assault on the very integrity of British medical oversight, casting a dark shadow over the future of healthcare regulation for all minority professionals in the UK.
